Critiques CKCS Qld July, 05 Glenda Cheney Stylish and smart Ruby rising 9 mths. Attractive youngster who made the most of his fine attributes by showing himself to advantage. Lovely size and shape well made with pleasing neck and shoulder placement. Moved freely fore and aft exhibiting a smooth driving action that displayed good economical use of hindquarters. A well-balanced pup that retained a strong top line both standing and on the move. Excellent in profile view. I liked this boys head, gentle and expressive, correctly proportioned. Refined with no exaggeration. Sparse coat at present, but of a silky and soft quality that shows great promise. Good bright colour to his coat and I note that he had excellent pigmentation. Well prepared, presented and handled. Awarded : Opposite Minor Puppy In Show.
CKCS NSW 10th Sept, 05 Mrs L Gillhespy This Ruby boy was so typical of his English Sorata breeding. Lovely colour, super size and make and shape attracted me to him as soon as he came into the ring. His head is developing nicely, sufficient coat for his age and moving soundly. Unfortunately he could be a little uncooperative for his owner at times. When he did move away on a slack lead he looked quite stunning.
CKCS NSW 16th April, 06 Jacqui Weekes Compact, richly coloured Ruby dog of correct size. Very pleasing head shape with lovely large dark eyes and beautiful expression. Well balanced body of good make and shape. Moved well. Needs to develop more substance through the body, but plenty of time for this.
CKCS NSW 15th Sept, 06 Barry Embleton A super dooper Ruby dog, loved his expression typical Cavalier, a well presented dog with a lovely large dark eye, good pigment, loved his front and well angulated hindquarters, a dog with good shoulder placement with a good spring of rib, a pleasing dog on the move. Awarded : Intermediate in Show.
CKCS Canberra 5th Nov, 06 Ms Lindsay Rennard Nice Ruby with lots to like about this stylish dog. Attractive head with flat skull and well set ears that framed his lovely face.
CKCS Qld 15th July, 07 Mrs Shirley Burnside A delightful ruby who sailed around the ring with sound movement and was well handled. A lovely head with correct eye and muzzle. He was strongly built and in lovely condition. Awarded : Dog CC & Reserve in Show
CKCS NSW March, 08 Mr Tom Tancred A lovely type of ruby dog. Beautiful head and outline.
CKCS NSW June, 08 Mr David Smith An impressive dog from the gentle expressive head to his light, powerfully driving movement. This is possible due to the excellent construction of his body. Awarded : Reserve Best Dog & Best Aus Bred in Show
CKCS Victoria June, 08 Mr Joakim Ohlsson Masculine headed ruby. Well set ears. Big, round eyes that could be a bit darker. Excellent size. Good neck and back, a little falling croup. Good colour but not in best coat today.
CKCS Qld 13th July, 08 Mrs Maureen Boyd Excellent coated Ruby lovely type.
CKCS NSW Sept, 08 Mr I Willey
CKCS Canberra 8th Nov, 08 Mr Brian Rix Ruby of good size with a good head. Nice expression. Correct for size. Good neck and shoulders, good hindquarters. In good coat, moved and showed well. Awarded : Opposite Aus Bred in Show
CKCS NSW April, 09 Mrs D Tyssen Another handsome Ruby boy with good head and expression, I would just prefer darker eyes. Not the length of neck and balance of 3, with good shoulder, front, topline & well angulated hindquarters, he moved well, but wouldn't show today which cost him dearly in this class.
